I went to bed with a headache, and my dream started out with meeting an old friend that I would call my big sister. I asked her if I could lay my head on her shoulder while standing while hugging her and I gave her a great big hug. After the fact of the event, taking place, I wake up with my headache, still throbbing, then went back to bed. I was laying on a bed in the drink my head still on her lap, and she covered me up with a blanket and I was exhausted in the dream that I went to third person and I could not move Then I feel the urge of getting up again, but can’t I wake up again my headache‘s gone, fell back asleep and dreamt that she kissed me on the forehead and lips.
Dreams are often a reflection of our emotions, experiences, and subconscious thoughts. Your dream features significant elements that suggest themes of comfort, support, and emotional connection.
Old Friend as a Comforting Figure: The appearance of your old friend, whom you refer to as your "big sister," signifies a source of comfort and safety. This could represent a longing for emotional support or a desire for nurturing in your life. In times of stress or discomfort (like having a headache), we naturally seek out those who make us feel secure.
Hugging and Seeking Comfort: The act of hugging your friend and resting your head on her shoulder demonstrates a need for comfort and solace. It suggests that you are looking for a safe space to express vulnerability and be cared for, which is especially relevant as you’re experiencing physical discomfort.
Exhaustion and Feeling Stuck: The period in the dream where you feel exhausted and cannot move might indicate feelings of powerlessness or being weighed down by something in your waking life. It could also symbolize a state of emotional fatigue or perhaps feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities or tensions.
Waking Up with a Headache: The continuation of your physical headache into the dream suggests a strong connection between your physical state and emotional experiences. This could be your mind processing discomfort or distress while you sleep.
Kisses on the Forehead and Lips: These gestures in your dream symbolize affection and care. A kiss on the forehead often represents deep emotional bonding, while a kiss on the lips can signify intimacy or a desire for a deeper connection. This can reflect your yearning for love, reassurance, or validation from those close to you.
Overall, your dream seems to highlight a deep-seated need for comfort, emotional support, and connection during a time of discomfort, whether physical or emotional. It may be useful to reflect on your current state of relationships, emotional needs, and any sources of stress or discomfort in your life.
